Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a regional SAP SD Functional Consultant to own end-to-end SD behavior for regional processes within S4 HANA implementations and daily support.

You will collaborate with business analysts, project managers, solution architects and vendors to ensure accurate system behavior and operational workflows across regions.

Qualifications

• 6 years of hands-on SAP SD experience (added but not compulsory).
• L2 support capability in SAP SD is an added but not compulsory.
• At least 1 full-cycle end-to-end rollout or greenfield implementation in SAP SD is an added but not compulsory.
• Experience in regional/global projects or settings is an added but not compulsory.
• Exposure to Order-to-Cash, inventory, pricing, billing or workflow-driven processes is an added but not compulsory.
• Experience with master data structures in customer, product, pricing or inventory is an added but not compulsory.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SAP SD behavior for regional processes and harmonization goals.
• Translate requirements into functional specs ensuring scalable workflows and controls.
• Review and approve FR S/UI/UX designs, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Lead UAT, validation, defect prioritization, and sign-off readiness for scope.

About the job

• To own end-to-end SAP SD behavior for assigned regional business processes while aligning with the operational priorities and harmonization goals.
• To translate regional business processes into functional specification ensuring scalable system workflows, business rules, validations, integrations, and operational controls.
• To review and approve Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), UI/UX designs, and solution proposals, ensuring alignment with business requirment and long-term SAP SD sustainability.
• To partner with other Business Process Owner, other functional and technical consultant, Project Manager and vendors to ensure operational processes are accurately reflected in system behavior and user workflows.
• To work on workflow logic, master data dependencies, integrations, and end-to-end operational behavior.
• To lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, defect prioritization, and sign-off readiness for assigned scope.
• To ensure delivered solutions align with company's governance, compliance, and operational requirements.

About the manager/team

The role is an individual contributor role where you will become the regional SAP SD functional consultant. You will work together with other functional & technical consultants, business analysts, project managers, business process owners, solution architect and vendors in regional SAP SD S4 HANA implementation projects / day to day support.

About requirements

• Someone who has at least 6 years of handson working experience in SAP SD is an added but not compulsary.
• Someone who has at least L2 support capability in SAP SD is an added but not compulsary.
• Someone who has at least 1 full cyce end to end rollout or greenfield implementation on SAP SD is an added but not compulsary.
• Someone who has experience in either regional / global role / projects / setting is an added but not compulsary.
• Someone with exposure on either one of these : Order-to-Cash (OTC) / inventory management / consignment / pricing / billing / workflow-driven operational processes is an added but not compulsary.
• Someone with experience on master data structures on these data : customer / product / pricing / inventory is an added but not compulsary.
• Someone with strong collaboration and communication skills, able to bridge business, IT and vendor teams.
• Someone with experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments is an added but not compulsary.

About the salary & benefits
