Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced SAP EWM consultant to maintain and optimize SAP EWM systems. You will gather requirements, configure SAP EWM, and ensure alignment with business goals while coordinating with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other consultants on project implementations or support engagements.
The role requires at least 5 years in SAP EWM/WM with end-to-end project exposure; knowledge of ABAP basics and global templates is a plus, and the position offers
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SAP EWM / SAP WM within implementation project and/or support.
- 3 full cycle end-to-end implementations on regional/global basis is a plus.
- Experience with global templates and ABAP debugging exposure is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Maintain SAP EWM for optimum performance and reliability.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP projects including requirements gathering and configuration.
- Design and configure SAP EWM modules to align with business objectives.
- Maintain relationships with business users and stakeholders.
- Execute incident/change management when required.
- Keep SAP EWM up-to-date with latest technologies and governance.

We are partnering with one of the world's top IT consultancy company who has been a SAP Gold Partner since early 2000s. Their focus and speciality in SAP products has helped them to implement wide range of SAP modules - nearly 400 successful S4 HANA projects and more than 1000 projects from all ECC versions. - To maintain SAP EWM to ensure optimum performance and reliability at all time
- To take part in end-to-end SAP project (if any) eg ; business requirement gathering, understand business processes, hands-on functional configuration based on requirements (eg ; SAP table and data structure), UAT & others (BA is also welcome to apply, not just functional consultant)
- To gather requirements, design and configure of SAP EWM modules, and implement solutions that align with business objectives
- To maintain a good relationship with the business users lead & other related stakeholders
- To execute daily Event Management, Incident Management, Change Request when necessary
- To keep updated with latest SAP technologies, identify opportunities for improvement, recommend and implement enhancements to optimize system functionality
- To enforce governance processes, standards, and best practices for SAP EWM modules.
You will work with different stakeholders, liasing with Project Manager, Key Business Users, Business Analyst, Functional & other Technical Consultants for SAP EWM within project implementation, enhancement / support role. As a SAP EWM consultant, you will be responsible for support, enhancement & configuration of SAP EWM.
- Someone who has at least 5 years of experience in either SAP EWM / SAP WM within implementation project and/or support (L3) is an added but not compulsory.
- Someone with at least 3 full cycle end-to-end implementation projects on a regional or global basis is an added but not compulsary.
- Those with exposure in creating and maintaining global template is an added advantage but not compulsary
- Those with experience of either ; minor ABAP debugging and code reading / ABAP Reports / User Exits / BAdIs is an added advantage but not compulsary (this is a functional role, not technofunctional or technical role)
- Those with exposure in any 3rd party integration is an added advantage but not compulsary
- Someone with at leadership experience is an added advantage but not compulsary (this is individual contributor role)
- Someone from consulting firm is mostly sought after (end user is also welcome to apply)
- Only for MALAYSIAN or those that do not require VISA to work in Msia
- up to RM 17,000 can be increased to experienced consultant who already earned more
