EDV Werke in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a SAP Business Analyst to join our hybrid team. You will translate business needs into SAP solutions across SD, MM, FI/CO, and integration scenarios, collaborating with stakeholders and IT to deliver end-to-end processes.

The role emphasizes requirements engineering, agile delivery, and quality assurance, with opportunities to influence subscription management, order-to-cash, and billing in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP Business Analysis within enterprise SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD, SAP MM, and SAP FI/CO with end-to-end process experience.
• Proven experience in requirements engineering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Experience with Scrum and/or Kanban in Agile software delivery environments.
• Understanding of SAP integration, landscape, data migration initiatives, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with hands-on Jira/Confluence experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for SAP solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Analyze processes to identify automation opportunities and support process improvements across SAP environments.
• Create process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for scalable SAP designs.
• Support SAP processes including subscription management, order-to-cash, billing, contract management, and end-to-end operations.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Agile teams to refine backlogs and contribute to releases.
• Define business acceptance criteria, coordinate UAT, and support defect resolution activities.

Tasks:

• Business Requirements Analysis – Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for enterprise SAP solutions supporting digital business processes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration – Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions while acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Business Process Optimization – Analyze existing business processes, identify automation opportunities, and support continuous process improvements across SAP environments.
• Solution Design Support – Create process flows, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria while supporting scalable SAP solution design.
• SAP Process Support – Support SAP processes related to subscription management, order-to-cash, billing, contract management, and end-to-end business operations.
• Agile Delivery Participation – Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Agile teams to refine backlogs, support release planning, and contribute to successful solution deployments.
• Testing & Quality Assurance – Define business acceptance criteria, coordinate User Acceptance Testing, validate delivered functionality, and support defect resolution activities.

Requirements – must have:

• SAP Business Analysis Experience – Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst working within enterprise SAP environments.
• SAP Functional Knowledge – Strong knowledge of SAP SD, SAP MM, and SAP FI/CO modules with experience supporting end-to-end business processes.
• Requirements Engineering Skills – Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements engineering, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
• Agile Methodology Experience – Experience working with Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies in Agile software delivery environments.
• SAP Integration Knowledge – Understanding of SAP application landscapes, enterprise integrations, implementation projects, and data migration initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management Skills – Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with experience working across cross-functional teams.
• Tools & Education – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with hands‑on experience using Jira and Confluence.

Requirements – nice to have:

• SAP BTP & S/4HANA Knowledge – Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP CAP, and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• SAP Development Awareness – Familiarity with SAP Fiori, ABAP debugging, SAP transaction analysis, and API-based integrations.
• Enterprise Platform Experience – Knowledge of middleware platforms, ServiceNow, IT Service Management processes, and cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Transformation Project Exposure – Experience supporting enterprise transformation programs and modern SAP cloud initiatives.
