EDV Werke invites a SAP IT Business Analyst to join a hybrid role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The candidate will elicit and translate complex SAP requirements, collaborating with product owners, SAP specialists, and agile teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include backlog refinement, stakeholder alignment, and driving process improvements across SAP modules such as SD, MM, and FI/CO. A degree and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in SAP environments and enterprise landscapes.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO.
• Experience in requirements analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and process modelling.
• Proven experience with Scrum and/or Kanban, including ceremonies and backlog refinement.
• Experience analyzing and improving end-to-end business processes across complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with SAP integrations and data migration or implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
• Degree in a relevant field, proficiency with Jira and Confluence, ownership mindset focused on business value

Tasks

• Requirements Management – Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Business Process Analysis – Analyze subscription, order-to-cash, billing, and contract processes and identify improvement opportunities
• SAP Solution Design – Translate business needs into clear SAP solution requirements aligned with business objectives and priorities
• Agile Product Delivery – Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, SAP specialists, and Agile teams across delivery activities
• Backlog Management – Refine epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria while supporting prioritization and release planning
• Stakeholder Management – Facilitate workshops, communicate requirements, present recommendations, and maintain alignment across stakeholders
• Testing & Quality – Define acceptance criteria, support UAT, validate delivered functionality, and coordinate defect resolution
• Process Improvement – Drive SAP process standardization, automation, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives

Must-Have Skills:

• SAP Business Analysis – 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst working in SAP environments and enterprise landscapes
• SAP Process Knowledge – Strong understanding of SAP business processes and experience with modules such as SD, MM, and FI/CO
• Requirements Engineering – Strong skills in requirements analysis, user stories, acceptance criteria, documentation, and process modelling
• Agile Methodologies – Practical experience with Scrum and/or Kanban, including ceremonies, backlog refinement, and prioritization
• Process Optimization – Experience analyzing and improving end-to-end business processes across complex enterprise environments
• SAP Integration – Experience with SAP integrations, interconnected enterprise systems, and data migration or implementation projects

• SAP BTP & CAP – Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform and Cloud Application Programming Model
• SAP Fiori – Experience with SAP Fiori and modern SAP user experience solutions
• ABAP Debugging – Familiarity with ABAP debugging or SAP transaction analysis using tools such as SE37, SM37, ST22, or AL11
• API & Middleware – Understanding of API-based integrations and middleware solutions within enterprise environments
