Job description

Innovation starts from the heart.

Edwards Lifesciences is the global leader of patient-focused innovations for structural heart disease and critical care monitoring. With millions of patients served in over 100 countries, each team makes a meaningful contribution by improving patient outcomes and discovering lasting solutions for unmet patient needs. How will you make an impact?

Business Analysis & Solution Design

Work with business stakeholders to understand commercial processes such as account and contact management, field activities, case management, pricing, marketing campaigns, partner portals and business planning. Turn business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria. Run fit-gap analysis against standard Salesforce capabilities, and recommend configuration-first options with clear trade-offs. Assess the impact of changes on the data model, security and sharing, integrations and existing functionality. Define clear technical requirements for developers when custom development (Apex, LWC, integrations) is needed.

Configuration & Delivery

Configure Salesforce Sales, Service and Experience Cloud, including objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, Flows, approval processes, permission sets, sharing rules, reports and dashboards. Take an active part in Agile delivery: backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews and release planning. Prepare test scenarios, run system testing, and support business user acceptance testing (UAT) and production deployment.

Platform Support & Continuous Improvement

Own assigned incidents, service requests and minor enhancements end to end, within the agreed service levels. Run root cause analysis on system, data and integration issues, including integrations with ERP, data warehouse, marketing and analytics platforms. Support user access and license administration in line with regional governance standards. Find recurring issues and suggest improvements that make the platform more stable and the user experience better.

Documentation & Enablement

Create and maintain solution design, configuration and support documentation. Hand over knowledge to support teams, and prepare business trainers and super users to roll out new features.

Collaboration & Compliance

Work with external delivery partners, and review their estimates, solution approach and deliverable quality. Follow the company's SDLC, change control, data privacy and compliance requirements.

What you'll need (Required):
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • At least 3 years of hands‑on Salesforce experience.
  • Sales Cloud is required; Service Cloud or Experience Cloud is a plus.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator is required.
  • Salesforce Business Analyst, Platform App Builder or Sales Cloud Consultant certification is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security and sharing model, and Flow automation.
  • Working knowledge of SOQL, Data Loader and data quality troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of system integration concepts (APIs, middleware) and data flows between ERP and CRM.
  • Experience with Agile delivery and tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical topics in business terms.
  • Ability to manage several priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working across cultures in a complex, matrixed regional organization.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Mandarin or Japanese is a strong plus.
What else we look for (Preferred):
  • Experience in the life sciences, medical device or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with validated systems, GxP or Good Documentation Practices.
