Job summary

CHJ Motors is seeking a Sales Representative in Kedah to manage daily branch operations, greet walk-in customers, promote latest offers and handle both hire purchase and cash sales processes. You will ensure proper bike displays, stock checks, social media promotions and accurate documentation, while contributing to meeting sales targets.

You will coordinate with admin and Finance for deposits, registrations, and loan approvals, and you will maintain CHJ Customer Profiles for customers.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the branch’s roller shutter door daily.
• Monitor cleanliness of the branch and display bikes.
• Arrange display bikes by brand and model.
• Provide good customer service for every walk-in customer.
• Promote latest promotional packages and meet customer needs.
• For HP loan purchases: collect documents, collect minimum deposit, pass to admin for booking receipt, and key customer in CAD system.
• For cash purchases: collect documents and deposit or full payment, pass to admin for registration and issue invoice, and ensure CHJ Customer Profile form is filled.
• Before discharge, check engine chassis number, refuel, prepare plate number, arrange Pre-Delivery Inspection, and ensure all documents are signed.
• Actively post relevant advertisements on FB, Instagram and WhatsApp to attract customers.
• Collect contact numbers from potential customers for follow-up.
• Bank daily cash money into company account.
• Daily follow-up if sales targets are not met.
• Weekly: follow up with walk-in customers, loan/motorcycle status, inspect new motorcycles for scratches and correct chassis numbers, and keep catalog up to date.
• Monthly: follow up stock with Sales Manager, contact customers if stock not yet reached, order basic needs, and ensure monthly/quarterly hire purchase targets are met.

• 1. Responsible to open and close the roller shutter door everyday
• 2. Responsible to monitor the cleanliness of branch and display bikes.
• 3. Responsible to arrange the display bikes according to the brand and model.
• 4. Attend and provide good customer service for every walk in customer.
• 5. Serve customers by promoting the latest promotion package and meeting customer needs.
• 6. For customer who purchase motorcycle by HP loan application, sales representative is responsible to:
  • Collect all required documents for the loan application from customer.
  • Collect minimum deposit amount from customer and pass to admin to issue booking receipt for customer.
  • Key in the customer information in CTOS Application Decisioning (CAD) System.
  • Once the loan application approved and motorcycle stock is available, inform customer and collect full downpayment amount from customer after received the agreement from Finance Department
• 7. For customer who purchase motorcycle by cash, sales representative is responsible to:
  • Collect required documents from customer and minimum deposit amount or full payment settlement and pass to admin to do registration on MY Sikap system and issue invoice.
  • Make sure customer fill in CHJ Customer Profile form.
• 8. Before discharge motorcycle, sales representative is responsible to
  • Check engine chassis number, purchase petrol, prepare plate number and arrange for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) with workshop.
  • Make sure all the documents including agreement are signed by customer.
• 9. Actively posting relevant advertisement on social media such as FB, Instagram and Whatsapp to attract more customers
• 10. Collect the contact number from every potential walk in customer in order to follow up.
• 11. Responsible to bank in the branch daily cash money into company account.
• 12. Responsible to do a daily follow up checklist if the individual sales target is not achieved.

B. Weekly Jobs

• 1. Follow up with the potential walk in customers who came to survey motorcycle price.
• 2. Follow up the loan status or motorcycle status for customers.
• 3. Check the condition of new arrived motorcycles to ensure that there is no scratches on the motorcycle and come with correct engine chassis number
• 4. Make sure the catalog in branch is arranged neatly and up to date.

C. Monthly Jobs

• 1. Follow up the motorcycle stock with Sales Manager.
• 2. Contact with the customer if the motorcycle stock not yet reached.
• 3. Order the basic needs such as plate number, plate board and others.
• 4. Make sure achieve both the monthly individual hire purchase sales target and quarterly individual hire purchase sales target units

D. Other Jobs (Supportive Task, Eg. Replacement)

• 1. Responsible to attend and support outdoor event when required.
• 2. Distribute the promotion flyers.
• 3. Replace other sales representatives when they are on leave or on medical leave at other branches.
• 4. Inform immediate superior if on medical leave or wish to apply leave.
