Job summary

About the role

Infinity Food Distribution Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Sales Merchandiser to join our team in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving sales and brand visibility across our retail partners. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be the face of our products in the retail environment, ensuring optimal shelf presence and customer engagement to maximise sales opportunities and strengthen our market position.

Key responsibilities

• Execute merchandise displays and point-of-sale materials according to company standards and promotional guidelines


• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products on retail shelves


• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners and store managers


• Conduct regular audits of product placement, pricing accuracy and promotional compliance


• Collect and report market intelligence, competitor activity and customer feedback


• Support product launches and promotional campaigns across assigned retail outlets


• Maintain detailed records of merchandising activities and sales performance metrics


• Identify and resolve issues related to product availability and shelf presentation


• Educate retail staff on product features and benefits to enhance customer service


• Contribute to achieving sales targets and key performance indicators

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Sales Merchandiser or similar retail merchandising role within the food and beverage or fast-moving consumer goods sector


• Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and visual merchandising principles


• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work independently


• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to build effective relationships with retail partners


• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of product presentation


• Proficiency with mobile devices or tablets for data collection and reporting


• Flexibility to work varying hours and travel to multiple retail locations as required


• Knowledge of the Malaysian retail landscape and local market dynamics would be advantageous


• Valid driving licence and own transportation is preferred
