Job summary

H&W Food Industry Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Sales Merchandiser to ensure attractive in-store displays and to take new orders in Malaysia. You will monitor stock levels, coordinate with store managers, and visit outlets to keep shelves well-stocked and appealing.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. The role involves travel, training, and targeted incentives, with 5 working days per week. Training provided and staff discounts available.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in FMCG industry.
• Willing to travel and possess own transport.
• Candidate must posses at least SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Self discipline and sales oriented person is highly required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products on shelf in supermarket, hypermarket or department store.
• Maximise sales and take new orders from outlets.
• Daily visit to the retail outlets and ensure all our products are well merchandised with adequate level of stocks on display.
• Ensure products, information and promotional details are displayed correctly according to guidelines and promotion activation.
• Monitor stock levels and propose order when inventory is low.
• Communicate effectively with key personnel on ordering and replenishment of stocks and other operational issues.
• Build good working relationship with store managers, responding to their request and feedback.
• Negotiate for optimal shelf space and display location.
• Ensuring the company sales target and goals are met.
• Photograph to be taken after the merchandising for every outlet.
• Collecting PO, cheques and other documents.
• Training the promoter, retailer staff on proper stock displays and rotations to maintain the space and sampling.
• Identifying stocks in store room OR backroom, expired stocks for short BBD, B1F1 wrapping at outlets, reduce to clear(RTC) ,etc.
• Provide regular feedback on the sales performance of our product, store and display issues, and competitor’s activities to immediate superior.
• To assist setting up promotion fair and dismantle promotion fair.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

A Sales Merchandiser ensures that products are displayed attractively in retail stores to maximize sales.
