As a Sales and Marketing Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to attract bright, motivated students who will thrive at Gemological Institute of Malaysia (GIM) under Tomei Group. Key responsibilities
- Provide accurate and positive counselling on academic programmes and campus life to prospective students and their parents (face-to-face and via digital platforms)
- Achieve student enrolment targets through lead conversion and follow-ups
- Support and follow up on enquiries from digital marketing campaigns for enrolment conversion
- Plan and execute on-campus events and initiatives to enhance student recruitment
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and admissions processes
- Plan, prioritise, and attend external outreach activities such as school visits, exhibitions, roadshows, and education fairs
- Build and maintain relationships with partner schools, agencies, counsellors, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate visits and promotional efforts to feeder schools
- Collaborate with external outsources company to implement promotional campaigns via social media, websites, banners, posters, and printed materials
- Ensure all outreach and school marketing events align with institutional branding standards
About you
- Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or recruitment, preferably within the background in student recruitment (undergraduate/postgraduate)
- Experience managing agency/school accounts and familiarity with the education recruitment cycle and event coordination
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Warm, approachable, and professional in student/parent engagement
- Ability to work as part of a team in a deadline-oriented environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general digital communication tools
- Possess a valid driving license and own transportation, with the flexibility to travel within Klang Valley and across Malaysia
- Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
