Job summary

MAHSA Avenue International College (MAIC) recruitment specialist role to promote MAIC programmes to prospective students and parents, engaging with inquiries via walk-ins, calls, WhatsApp, email and social media.

You will guide applicants through the enrolment process, organise recruitment events, and work with schools, agents, and counsellors to achieve monthly and yearly targets.

Responsible for promoting the MAHSA Avenue International College (MAIC) programmes, engaging with prospective students and parents, and achieving student enrolment targets through effective recruitment and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and explain the MAIC programmes, courses, entry requirements, fees, and admission process to prospective students.
• Handle enquiries from prospective students through walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, email, social media, and other channels.
• Follow up with prospective students and guide them throughout the application and enrolment process.
• Conduct school, college, education fair, roadshow, and campus recruitment activities.
• Build and maintain good relationships with schools, colleges, education counsellors, agents, and other recruitment partners.
• Organise and participate in student recruitment events, open days, exhibitions, and outreach programmes.
• Achieve monthly and yearly student recruitment/enrolment targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, follow-ups, and enrolments.
• Prepare recruitment reports and provide updates on recruitment progress.
• Work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, Academic, and Student Services teams.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new student recruitment opportunities.
• Perform other duties related to student recruitment as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, Communications, or related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in student recruitment, sales, education, marketing, or customer service.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales abilities may also be considered.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Target-driven, proactive, and able to meet recruitment targets.
• Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable conducting presentations and attending off-campus recruitment activities.
• Willing to travel for school visits, education fairs, roadshows, and recruitment events.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic digital communication/CRM tools.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation is an advantage.
