Job summary

CB Palm Industrial Sdn Bhd in Selangor is seeking a Sales Manager to handle inquiries, coordinate orders, and arrange deliveries while promoting CBPISB products to both local and international customers.

The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, analyzing market trends, and leading the sales team to achieve growth and target achievement. Formal education in engineering or business is preferred, with relevant palm-oil industry experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Business or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years managing a manufacturing company
• Minimum 5 years managing a palm oil mill company

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries, review orders and arrange delivery
• Promote CB Palm Industrial products to customers professionally
• Build and maintain relationships with local and foreign customers
• Monitor competitor activity and products
• Achieve growth and hit sales targets by managing the sales team
• Prepare and provide accurate quotations
• Assist HOD with tender documentation and contracts
• Attend industry events and report market/ trends
• Receive customer complaints and feedback to QAQC department
• Perform other tasks assigned by superior

Job description

Primary function:

To present and make known to client the added value of CBPISB equipment's and services to potential customers.

Secondary function:

1. Responsible to handle customer inquiry, take and review the customer order and arrange the delivery.
2. To promote company products to existing and new customers professionally.
3. To build and maintain good relationships with customers (local and foreign).
4. Monitoring competitor activity and competitors’ products.
5. To achieve growth and hit the sales of targets by successfully managing the sales team.
6. To prepare and provide accurate quotation to the customer by generate accurate quotation report.
7. To assist HOD for documentations of project tendering and contract preparations.
8. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
9. To receive any customers complaints and feedback to QAQC department.
10. Any other jobs assigned by superior when necessary.

Organizational knowledge:

1. Understand process flow for palm oil mill.
2. In depth knowledge on CB Palm Industrial products.
3. Knowledge in leadership and company policy.
4. Able to analysis of market trends for palm oil industry and palm oil mills.
5. Understand in ISO 9001:2015.
6. Knowledge in regularity and statuary requirement.
7. Planning skill.
8. Project management.
9. Knowledge in Marketing tools.

Limit of authority:

1. Signing of quotation within the limit set by management.

Qualification & Working Experience Requirements:

1. Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Business or equivalent with minimum of 3 years working experience in managing a manufacturing company; or
2. Minimum 5 years working experience in managing a palm oil mill company.
