Job summary

CB Palm Industrial Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Production/Manufacturing Manager to oversee production activities, ensure safety and drive planning efficiency.

You will lead manpower and capacity planning, coordinate with Project, Shipping and Marketing to align fabrication schedules, and uphold quality systems across the plant.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma with at least 10 years in palm oil mill or related manufacturing industries.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in palm oil mill or related manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production activities and ensure targets are met.
• Coordinate with project, shipping and marketing to plan fabrication schedules.
• Manage manpower and capacity planning to optimize output.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems and maintenance standards.
• Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
• Lead production meetings and communicate requirements to staff.
• Prepare reports on output, materials, downtime and issues.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance with procedures.
• Develop productivity, safety, quality and cost improvement initiatives.
• Train, evaluate and manage staff performance.

Job Description

1. Oversee the production activities.
2. Responsible for manpower and capacity planning.
3. Responsible to coordinate with project, shipping and marketing to prepare production fabrication planning and schedule.
4. Responsible for the overall quality system and maintenance.
5. Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
6. Conduct Production Meeting and communicate customer, statutory and regulatory requirements to production personnel.
7. Prepare report and update Management on the production output, manpower, raw materials, machineries down time and other issues related to production.
8. Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
9. Ensure that Production personnel follow procedures and work instruction.
10. Ensure the materials; labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
11. Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
12. To train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel grievances.
13. Provide necessary support to Project, Sales & Marketing, Shipping, Safety and Health, QAQC and other departments when required.
14. Development of productivity, safety, quality, cost improvement strategies assigned by superiors.

Qualification & Working Experience Requirements:

1. Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 10 years working experience in palm oil mill industry or
2. Minimum 10 years of working experience in manufacturing company industry or any related field.
