Job summary

City-Link Express (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a Sales Manager to plan, organize and execute marketing and sales strategies to meet targets. You will support leadership of the sales team and drive business growth while ensuring high customer satisfaction in the logistics and courier industry.

The role requires 4–5 years of sales experience in logistics with 2–3 years in a leadership position, plus fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus

This is a Sales Manager position based in Penang. You will assist in planning, organizing, and executing marketing and sales strategies to achieve sales targets, support leadership of the sales team, and drive business growth and customer satisfaction in the logistics and courier industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing marketing and sales strategies to achieve sales targets
• Support the Sales Manager in leading and motivating the sales team to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
• Manage key customer accounts, build strong client relationships, and ensure high levels of service delivery
• Identify new business opportunities and gather market intelligence on logistics and courier solutions
• Assist in preparing sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to support management decisions
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements and operational excellence
• Undertake other sales-related duties as assigned from time to time

About you

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum 4–5 years of sales experience, preferably in Logistics, Courier Services, freight forwarding or express delivery industry
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a proven track record of managing a sales team
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale corporate key accounts in Malaysia
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is a strong advantage
• Proactive, results-driven, and able to perform effectively under pressure
• Possess own transport and willing to travel within the Klang Valley and nearby regions
