Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) Malaysia is seeking a Sales Manager to lead and develop agency sales channels. You will drive production, recruitment, and agency performance while collaborating with senior leadership to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires building a high-performing team, training agents with best practices, and ensuring timely reporting and effective campaign execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Preferably from Insurance or Banking industry.
• Independent with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed production targets by Line of Business.
• Meet or exceed recruitment targets set by management.
• Monitor and manage agents turnover.
• Manage agency renewals effectively.
• Train agents using Best Practices AIG Selling System.
• Support Branch Manager/Head of Sales on Agency Development.
• Ensure trainings and activities are carried out effectively.
• Collaborate with agents to improve top/bottom line and customer satisfaction.
• Submit reports to upper management on time.
• Oversee campaign management and clear communications.
