AFWC SDN BHD invites applications for a Sales Executive (Training & Business Development) in Johor Bahru. The role focuses on promoting boiler training programmes developed with ILP Senai and expanding business within industrial sectors.
You will identify potential corporate clients, conduct outreach, and build a robust pipeline to meet monthly and annual targets. Travel within Johor is required, with strong communication and relationship-building skills to secure bookings.
Promote and market boiler training programmes conducted in collaboration with ILP Senai.
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial, manufacturing, and engineering sectors in Johor.
Identify potential corporate clients, including factories, manufacturing companies, and industrial facilities.
Conduct cold calls, emails, customer visits, and networking activities to generate leads.
Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Identify opportunities to expand the company's technical training programmes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR departments, training managers, factory managers, and industrial clients.
Understand clients' training needs and recommend suitable boiler training programmes.
Follow up on enquiries, quotations, proposals, and potential training bookings.
Arrange meetings and presentations to introduce training programmes to prospective clients.
Maintain long-term relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business.
Promote boiler training programmes to companies and potential participants.
Explain programme details, training schedules, course requirements, and registration procedures.
Coordinate with ILP Senai and the internal team on training schedules, participant registration, and programme arrangements.
Follow up with clients on participant nominations, registrations, and payment status.
Assist in preparing training proposals, quotations, brochures, and promotional materials.
Identify companies that require boiler-related training for their employees.
Research potential clients within the manufacturing, palm oil, food processing, and other relevant industrial sectors.
Monitor market demand and identify opportunities for new training programmes.
Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to promote the company's training services.
Prepare regular sales reports, sales forecasts, and business development updates.
Maintain accurate customer databases, sales records, and CRM information.
Track leads, follow-ups, quotations, confirmed bookings, and sales conversions.
Monitor sales performance against assigned targets.
Submit regular updates and reports to management.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, corporate training, or a related position.
Experience in selling technical training programmes, industrial training, or professional courses will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with the manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors in Johor will be an advantage.
Knowledge of boiler operations, steam systems, or boiler-related training is an added advantage.
Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify potential clients, generate leads, and convert enquiries into confirmed training bookings.
Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools.
Self-motivated, proactive, organised, and target-driven.
Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
Willing to travel within Johor for client visits and business development activities.
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
