Job summary

Scott & English Technology (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, headquartered in Shah Alam with branch offices nationwide, seeks a Sales Executive to identify and develop new customers and achieve sales targets for power generators. The role requires proactive prospecting, market visits, and handling inquiries in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in any field is required.
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years working experience is preferred.
• Good negotiation and influencing skills are essential.
• Basic electrical knowledge is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) preferred.
• Excellent communications skills and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers to achieve the sales target.
• Strong planning skills, self-initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Actively seek new sales opportunities through market visits, cold calls and networking.
• Follow up and pursue new business opportunities from project leads and tender opportunities.
• Aggressively visit potential customers and consultants to secure new projects early.
• Understand customer requirements to prepare accurate quotations and proposals.
• Report sales activities regularly to management.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure positive service outcomes.
• Self-disciplined, proactive and keen in organizing sales activities and visits.
• Able to communicate fluently with customers in English, Chinese & Bahasa Malaysia.
