Job summary

SOUTHERN AUTO CAPITAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a results‑driven General Insurance Associate to drive new sales and manage the full customer lifecycle for general policies.

You will handle renewals, policy servicing, and claims coordination while ensuring timely premium collection and accurate documentation. Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years of general insurance experience, strong customer-service orientation, and proficiency with MS Office and insurance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Generate new general insurance sales and business opportunities.
• Manage renewal processes for the assigned portfolio.
• Provide customer service support for policyholders.
• Handle claim management from registration to settlement tracking.
• Liaise with accounting on premium disbursement.
• Manage premium collection and follow-up for the portfolio.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

Drives new general insurance business generation and manages the full customer lifecycle for general policies - from renewal and customer service to claims handling and collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new general insurance sales and business opportunities
• Manage the general insurance renewal process for the assigned portfolio
• Provide customer service support for general insurance policyholders, including inquiries and policy servicing
• Handle claim management - registration, follow-up with insurers/workshops, and settlement tracking
• Liaison with accounting on disbursement on payment
• Manage premium collection and follow-up for the assigned company's portfolio
• To perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in general insurance sales, customer service, or claims
• Sales-driven with good interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of general claims processes and documentation
• Customer-service oriented with strong follow-through
• Proficient in MS Office and insurance agency management systems
