Behn Meyer is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive for its Food Ingredients Division in Malaysia. You will develop and manage customer relationships, promote a broad range of ingredients, and drive revenue growth across manufacturers and processors in Malaysia.

Ideal candidates have a background in food science/chemistry, strong communication, and a drive to achieve targets. Travel across Malaysia is expected as part of the role.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in food ingredients or related industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of food applications and ingredient functionalities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently.

Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our Food Ingredients Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets by promoting our portfolio of food ingredients to manufacturers and processors across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the food and beverage industry.
• Promote and sell a broad range of food ingredients and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Provide technical advice and product recommendations in collaboration with the technical support team.
• Conduct product presentations, trials, and demonstrations when required.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the division.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
• Coordinate with internal departments (technical, regulatory, supply chain) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the food ingredients or food manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of food applications and ingredient functionalities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and willing to travel.
