Job summary

A Star Glasstech (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive glass manufacturing sales and growth. The role emphasizes building long-term customer relationships, expanding into local and international markets, and delivering engaging sales presentations and demonstrations.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of sales experience in glass manufacturing, strong sector knowledge, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales experience in the glass manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of the glass manufacturing sector and related products.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willing to undertake frequent travel within Malaysia and to Singapore.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in local and international markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in the glass manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in glass manufacturing sales, strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in both local and international markets

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients

Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product proposals, and demonstrations

Negotiate commercial terms and close sales deals

Provide effective after-sales support and customer service

Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities

Work closely with production, logistics, and internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met

Follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries, and customer feedback

Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of sales experience in the glass manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of the glass manufacturing sector and related products

Fluent in English and Mandarin, both spoken and written. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Strong customer relationship management and business development skills

Willing to undertake frequent travel within Malaysia and to Singapore, when required

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
