Job summary

Merit Packaging in Malaysia is seeking a Sales and Business Development professional to identify opportunities, manage key accounts, and drive revenue within assigned markets. You will work closely with QA, production and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met, prepare quotations and contracts, and deliver timely order updates while tracking performance and market activity.

Qualifications

• 3 years of progressive experience in sales or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within assigned markets.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain relationships.
• Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements, subject to Manager approval.
• Hit target sales after first month of probation.
• Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Conduct customer visits and follow up on enquiries.
• Prepare quotations, contracts, and sales orders.
• Ensure accurate order entry in ERP system.
• Track and update customers on order status and delivery.
• Prepare sales reports, activity logs, and performance tracking.
• Monitor competitor activity and report to Manager.
• Liaise with QA, production, and logistics to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Escalate major customer issues to Manager.
