Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Chinese; additional languages are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel within the Johor region for client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities within the industrial trading market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Present and demonstrate products and services to prospective clients.

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at P&N Industrial Trading SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor, offering an exciting opportunity to drive sales growth and build lasting client relationships within the industrial trading sector.

As a Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our business development efforts, responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, managing customer accounts and achieving challenging sales targets. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and contributing directly to the company's revenue growth and strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities within the industrial trading market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Present and demonstrate our products and services to prospective clients, highlighting key benefits and value propositions
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to client needs
• Negotiate terms and close sales agreements to achieve or exceed individual sales targets
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, client interactions and pipeline progress using CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, warehouse and administration to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer service
• Attend industry events, trade shows and networking functions to generate leads and strengthen market presence
• Provide regular feedback to management regarding market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements
• Follow up on sales leads and enquiries promptly and professionally

What we’re looking for

• Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within the industrial, manufacturing or trading sector
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve targets consistently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building rapport with diverse clientele
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a competitive drive to exceed sales objectives
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with team members
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
• A valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the Johor region for client meetings
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Fluency in English and Chinese ; additional language skills are advantageous
• Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced sales environment
