Job summary

M+R Spedag Group is seeking a Sales Executive to develop business and enhance local sales opportunities in Malaysia. You will support sales campaigns, manage leads, and ensure quoted rates are accepted before shipment execution.

Drive new business, follow up on quotations, and maintain CRM pipeline with weekly updates. The role requires strong English, MS Office skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial experience in international freight forwarding.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and the local language.
• Proficient in MS Office; detail-oriented and accountable.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Highly organized, diligent, and results driven.

We have an opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our organization to develop business and enhance local sales opportunities and support sales campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition through assigned sales leads and self-sourced opportunities.

Secure competitive rate options to grow and sustain Malaysia shipment volumes.

Ensure all quoted rates are fully accepted by customers prior to shipment execution.

Proactively follow up on all quotations to improve conversion and hit volume targets.

Creation of qualifies sales leads for our partners globally and follow up on leads received from and/or sent.

Establish and implement general SOPs in line with customers requirements.

Mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks by adhering to company SOPs and management guidelines, while promoting effective use of internal IT tools.

Organisation and execution of schedules for overseas visits by our global partners.

Ensure ongoing compliance with SOPs and provide regular, proactive updates to management.

Maintain and manage sales leads through M+R’s CRM systems, ensuring accurate pipeline and activity reporting on a weekly basis.

Additional Responsibilities

Assistance when required to chase payments from local customers

Usage of market and cultural knowledge to ensure smooth relations between all staff and our global partners.

Execute management directives efficiently and with attention to detail.

Job Requirements
