Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a proactive Field Sales Engineer to expand our regional footprint through hands-on technical sales and strong engineering partnerships.

You will deliver technical demonstrations, build lasting client relationships, travel for on-site assessments, and coordinate with project teams to ensure customer success in a fast-growing automation environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Control & Automation, Electrical, Electronic, or general engineering discipline.
• Preferred 1–2 years of technical sales experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle for field travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and manage client relationships across target industrial accounts.
• Deliver technical sales proposals, product demonstrations, and system presentations to engineering prospects.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to hit sales targets and territory objectives.
• Conduct regular on-site customer visits to assess requirements and recommend automation solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technical requirements in your region.
• Coordinate with clients and technical project teams to ensure seamless post-sales support.
