Job summary

Talent Recruit represents a well-known oil and gas equipment company in Miri, Sarawak, and is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer or Sales Engineer to join the team.

You will handle customer enquiries, prepare technical proposals, and work towards meeting annual sales targets. Site visits (SAT/FAT) and tender support are part of the role, with a degree/diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Eng and at least 2 years in the petrochemical/oil & gas sector preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years in petrochemical, oil & gas industry or related MRO sales/support.
• Experience in tender documentation and familiarity with Petronas PTS & Shell MESC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via portal or direct contact; manage customer coverage and sales pursuit/follow-ups.
• Communicate with principal to gather information for proposals and ensure reporting aligns with sales programs.
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations that are accurate and meet customer requirements.
• Achieve annual sales targets for both company and principal.
• Attend site visits and supervise SAT/FAT.

We are representing a well-knownoil and gasequipment company inMiri, Sarawak. As they are expanding, they are looking forSenior Sales Engineer / Sales Engineerto join their team.

Job Requirements:

• Handling customer enquiries from portal or direct from customer, customer coverage, sales pursuit & follow-ups
• To communicate directly with principal in getting information for proposal preparation and to follow principal requirement in reporting and sales program
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations that are accurate, technically verified and in line with customer requirements.
• To meet annual sales target for both company & Principal
• Attend site visit and supervising site acceptance test ( SAT ) / factory acceptance test ( FAT )
• MinimumDegree/Diplomain Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum2 years working experience in petrochemical, oil & gas industryor other related industry in MRO sales and support role
• Technical knowledge in selection of control valve, choke valve, actuated on/off valves and manual valves will be an advantage
• Experience in preparing tender documentation and familiar with Petronas PTS & Shell MESC requirement.
• Familiar with Upstream and Downstream, power plant end users, consultants and EPCC will be an advantage
• Possess valid driving license and own transport and willing to travel
• Working Day: Monday to Friday (9:00AM to 5:30PM)
• Average 2-3 months annual bonus
