Hakko Products Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a resourceful Sales Engineer to drive new business and strengthen brand presence in the region. The role demands initiative, independence, quick learning, and strong communication to manage client relationships and close opportunities.

You will develop sales strategies, deliver product demonstrations, and tailor solutions to customer needs while building lasting partnerships with manufacturers and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of experience in equipment and/or solution sales in a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Must possess own vehicle for client visits and meetings.

Responsabilités

• Sales Targets: Achieving sales targets by developing and directing effective sales channels.
• Interaction: Plan and conduct sales visits and customer calls to build and maintain relationships with existing clients and expand the customer base.
• Demonstrations: Provide product demonstrations and maintenance services to clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our solutions.
• Proposals: Propose product solutions according to customers’ requirements, utilizing your engineering knowledge to offer tailored solutions.
• Development: Develop and manage the local market, and execute new marketing initiatives to increase market share.
• Building: Build quality relationships with customers and managers to foster long-term partnerships.
• Awareness: Keep up with changes in the market and industry, as well as changes in customers' needs, to stay ahead of the competition.
