Job summary

Career Horizons is seeking a proactive engineer-support professional to manage customer enquiries, review drawings, and coordinate with engineering and production teams from enquiry through to delivery. The role involves cost estimation, preparing quotations, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical/manufacturing/mechatronics background, good communication skills, and the ability to learn engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/manufacturing/mechatronics or related engineering field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Able to understand engineering drawings, or willing to learn.
• AutoCAD/SolidWorks knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, responsible and detail-oriented.
• Interest in both engineering and business.

Responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries, RFQs, drawings and specifications.
• Clarify technical requirements with customers.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality and Purchasing.
• Work out costing and prepare quotations from customer drawings.
• Follow projects from enquiry to delivery.
• Handle drawing revisions and requirement changes.
• Maintain customer relationships and support new business opportunities.
• Travel for customer visits and project discussions when required.
