Job summary

Airtech M&E Sdn Bhd is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer in Malaysia with 1–3 years of experience in sales engineering. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field is required.

Knowledge of HVAC/M&E systems is advantageous, and strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and proposing technical HVAC/M&E solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
• 1–3 years in sales engineering (fresh grads welcome if suitable).
• Knowledge of HVAC / M&E systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and target-oriented.
• Own transport and valid driving license is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure satisfaction.
• Understand client requirements and propose technical solutions (HVAC/M&E).
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and submissions.
• Conduct site visits and attend technical meetings.
• Work with technical/engineering team to ensure feasible solutions.
• Prepare regular sales reports, project updates, and forecasts.
• Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Follow up on projects from inquiry to closure.
