Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a technically oriented sales professional with at least 2 years of experience in technical sales or direct customer interaction, preferably in the engineering, manufacturing or industrial sectors. The role requires a solid technical foundation to understand and explain complex engineering products and solutions.

You will provide technical advice, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal design and technical teams to meet customer requirements,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales or in a role involving direct interaction with customers.
• Solid technical foundation with the ability to comprehend and clearly explain complex engineering products and solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and solutions to both potential and existing customers, ensuring their needs are effectively addressed.
• Accurately prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals in accordance with company policies.
• Collaborate with the internal design and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to support repeat business and customer satisfaction.
• Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the assigned area.
• Maintain accurate records and regularly report on sales activities and pipeline to management.
