The Robotics Support Engineer Intern will gain hands‑on experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of industrial robotics and automation systems. This internship provides exposure to real‑world engineering environments where you will work alongside experienced service engineers to deliver technical support and solutions to customers across various industries. Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Assist service engineers in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving mechanical, electrical, and automation‑related issues at customer sites.
Preventive Maintenance: Support routine inspection, maintenance, repair, and replacement of robotic and automation system components.
Field Service Exposure: Participate in on‑site service visits, installations, commissioning activities, and technical support assignments.
Tooling & Equipment Preparation: Assist in preparing tools, spare parts, and equipment required for service and maintenance activities.
Engineering Documentation: Support the preparation and maintenance of job reports, service records, operation manuals, and technical documentation.
Customer Support: Work alongside experienced engineers to provide professional technical assistance and support to customers.
Parts Management & Logistics Support: Assist in the delivery, collection, and coordination of spare parts and service‑related materials.
Continuous Learning: Gain exposure to industrial robotics, automation technologies, safety practices, and engineering best practices.
Key Requirements
Education: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, control systems, or industrial automation.
Software Knowledge: Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent design tools is an advantage.
Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively with team members and customers in a professional manner.
Problem‑Solving Mindset: Strong interest in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and hands‑on technical work.
Mobility and Flexibility: Willing to travel for customer site visits, flexible with working hours and field service assignments when required.
Transportation: Possess own transport, as this role requires the candidates to travel to customer's site frequently.
Availability: Minimum internship commitment of 4 months.
