Job summary

The Robotics Support Engineer Intern role at KUKA Group Malaysia will provide hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of industrial robotics and automation systems. You will work alongside experienced service engineers to deliver technical support and solutions at customer sites across various industries.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, or control systems.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar design tools is a plus.
Strong communication and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

Assist service engineers in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and automation issues at customer sites.
Support routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and part replacements for robotic systems.
Participate in on-site service visits, installations, and commissioning activities.
Help prepare tools, spare parts, and equipment for service tasks.
Assist in creating and maintaining service reports and technical documentation.
Provide professional technical assistance and support to customers.
