Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain an effective Energy Industries sales strategy within the Southeast Asia (SEA) regional market scope, to improve ABB’s market presence and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategies to meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and services, ensuring sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your leadership skills by directing, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (sales managers and specialists within scope) to meet sales targets through effective team management.

This role contributes to the Energy Industries Business Area in the SEA Region. Main stakeholders include EPCs, asset owners, developers, and government entities.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Anticipating and identifying shortfalls in performance and taking appropriate remedial actions strategically.
Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determining plans for implementation, and allocating required resources.
Planning and executing customer surveys and acting on the survey results to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Participating in the negotiation of key contracts and managing high-value tendering processes.
Managing and mentoring an effective sales team, promoting collaboration, and ensuring accountability to fulfill strategic objectives.
Qualifications for the Role:
You are highly skilled in structured sales processes, Salesforce CRM, and have deep knowledge of the Energy Industries market.
Ability to demonstrate 10–15 years of experience in Energy Industries, with a minimum of 5 years in senior front-end sales leadership for automation, control, and digital solutions.
Demonstrated experience in team leadership and people development, with effective ability to build and manage efficient teams.
Possess advanced knowledge of ICSS, PMS, SCADA, Telecommunication, and Digital Solutions.
You are committed to strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, leadership, and team management.
Leadership Qualities: Skilled decision-making ability, emotional intelligence, readiness to manage both expected and unexpected situations, professionalism, and the capability to inspire and motivate teams toward reaching goals.
Degree in Engineering or Business; MBA.
You are comfortable communicating in English and additional ASEAN languages.
You hold a valid work permit/VISA for the ASEAN region (where required).
