Job summary

SummitNext Technologies Sdn Bhd is hiring a Sales Development Representative (English Speaker) in Selangor, Malaysia. The role focuses on outbound calls, lead qualification, appointment setting, and opportunity development within a BPO/tech solutions context.

You will engage with customers, manage CRM records, and collaborate with the sales team to hand over qualified leads and appointments, while aiming to exceed weekly and monthly targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in telemarketing, telesales, business development, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing sales role.
• Strong outbound telemarketing experience required, particularly calling customers and setting appointments.
• Proven track record of generating qualified leads and securing sales appointments over the phone.
• Experience in BPO, call centre, telesales, telemarketing, inside sales, or business development highly preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Mandarin-speaking ability will be an advantage.
• Confident in handling objections, rejection, and difficult customer conversations.
• Persuasive, persistent, and results-oriented with a positive attitude and resilience.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems and relevant computer applications.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Conduct outbound telemarketing calls to potential and existing customers using the provided database and leads.
• Engage customers professionally, understand their needs, and identify potential sales opportunities.

• Follow up consistently with leads generated through marketing campaigns, databases, and other sources.
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly calling, qualified lead, appointment-setting, and sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, lead status, call outcomes, and appointments in the CRM system.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
• Handle customer objections, rejection, and enquiries professionally.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure qualified appointments and leads are properly handed over.

Job Requirements

• Nationality: Malaysian
