Job summary

Chemicalin Safety Sdn Bhd in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a responsible Sales Coordinator to support the sales team and customers, coordinate activities, prepare quotations and ensure orders are processed smoothly.

The role involves handling inquiries via WhatsApp, phone, and email, coordinating with purchasing, warehouse and delivery teams, maintaining records, and helping meet sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales coordination, customer service, administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Good computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and SQL Software.
• Organized, responsible, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Positive attitude and willing to learn about PPE, safety products and industrial supplies.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, email and other communication channels.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, sales orders, invoices and related sales documents.
• Coordinate customer orders with the sales, purchasing, warehouse and delivery teams.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, deliveries and payment status when required.
• Assist sales representatives in handling customer requirements and providing product information.
• Maintain and update customer records, product information and sales documents.
• Check product availability and coordinate with the purchasing/warehouse team when stock is required.
• Arrange and monitor delivery schedules to ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Provide good customer service and handle customer requests or complaints professionally.
• Assist in preparing sales reports and maintaining accurate sales records.
• Support the sales team in achieving sales targets and developing existing customer accounts.
• Perform general administrative and sales-support duties assigned by management.
