• Arrange, stock and display merchandise in an attractive and organised manner throughout the store.
• Maintain store cleanliness, tidiness and compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve concerns professionally and courteously.
• Support the store team with opening and closing procedures, stock takes and inventory management.
• Keep up-to-date with current promotions, product launches and company policies to inform customer interactions.

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join the retail team at WINTOO TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within our retail environment. As a Sales Assistant, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for creating a welcoming shopping experience whilst achieving sales targets and maintaining store standards. This role is essential to our retail operations and directly contributes to our business growth and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to help them find products that meet their needs
• Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handle cash, card and other payment methods
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and communicate product features, benefits and specifications to customers
• Actively promote products and services to meet individual customer requirements and achieve sales targets

• Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately
• A friendly, professional demeanour and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays as required by the retail calendar
• Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• A keen interest in technology products and a willingness to develop product knowledge
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude towards work and team collaboration
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous
