Jingxing Paper in Malaysia seeks a proactiveSales Coordination professional to align customer orders with production capacity and delivery requirements. You will plan monthly production, coordinate weekly schedules, and manage order feasibility, inventory and shipment arrangements across Sales, Production, Warehouse and Logistics teams.
The role requires Mandarin for HQ coordination, plus English and Bahasa Malaysia for local communications, along with strong Excel and MS Office skills.
To ensure effective sales planning, coordinated order fulfilment and efficient logistics scheduling by aligning customer demand with production capacity, inventory availability and delivery requirements.
Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in sales coordination, order management, production planning, supply planning, or logistics coordination. Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly within the paper mill or corrugated carton industry, will be an added advantage.
Strong planning, coordination, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely follow-through on commitments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work effectively with sales, inventory, order planning, and operational data.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with Sales, Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and other supporting departments.
Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required, including the ability to understand written Chinese and communicate effectively in spoken Mandarin, as the position requires regular coordination with the Company’s headquarters in China.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is also required to support local and regional business communication.
Monthly order and production planning: Consolidate monthly customer orders and sales forecasts, prepare the monthly production plan for management review, and communicate the approved plan to the Production Department for implementation.
Weekly planning: Prepare and coordinate weekly sales and delivery plans in line with the approved monthly production and sales plans.
Order feasibility: Assess order feasibility and confirm product availability, production capacity and delivery schedules, including orders for special-specification and customised products.
Inventory control: Monitor customer orders, customised products and inventory ageing, and coordinate the application of the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) principle.
Order fulfilment: Coordinate shipment quantities and delivery arrangements with Sales, Production, Warehouse, Logistics and external service providers.
Performance monitoring: Monitor the execution of sales and production plans, analyse variances against actual results, and coordinate the necessary corrective adjustments.
Stakeholder communication: Communicate and confirm order status, delivery schedules and expected arrival times with customers, internal stakeholders and the Company's headquarters in China.
Logistics coordination: Select suitable logistics service providers based on service quality, pricing and transportation capacity, and prepare the required dispatch or delivery instructions.
Continuous improvement: Participate in sales-process reviews, improvement activities and other related departmental responsibilities as assigned.
