About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven Sales Officers to join Chantal Trading Sdn Bhd in Permas Jaya, Johor. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in driving our sales objectives and building strong relationships with our clients. Key responsibilities

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting and lead generation activities

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business

Present and demonstrate products or services to clients, highlighting key benefits and features

Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and quotations tailored to client needs

Negotiate terms and close sales transactions in a professional and timely manner

Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities and pipeline progress

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer delivery

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities and industry developments

Provide excellent customer service and handle client inquiries and concerns professionally

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within a similar industry or commercial environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

Excellent negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven approach

Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently

Self-motivated and organised with strong time management capabilities

Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

A positive attitude, resilience and the ability to handle rejection professionally

Valid driving licence and willingness to travel as required for client visits

Fluency in English and Malay; additional language skills are advantageous

Formal sales training or certifications are preferred but not essential for candidates with strong practical experience
