Job summary

TALL INNOVATIONS SDN BHD is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to implement, monitor and enforce safety standards at the project site, ensuring compliance with regulations, company policies, and project requirements.

You will conduct daily site safety inspections, enforce PPE usage, maintain records, and prepare safety reports for management and authorities. A Yellow Book HSE certificate is required, with preference for 5 years in construction safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM and/or civil engineering certificate
• Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Yellow Book)
• Preferably at least 5 years in construction safety

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce site safety policies, procedures, and regulations
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions or hazards
• Ensure all workers comply with PPE requirements and safe work procedures
• Maintain and update safety records, permits, checklists, and statutory documentation
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports for management and authorities
• Ensure compliance with DOSH, CIDB, and project-specific safety requirements
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction training for new workers
• Respond to accidents, incidents, and near-misses and conduct investigations
• Collaborate with Project Manager, Site Engineer, subcontractors, and safety teams
• Ensure emergency equipment is available and maintained, and assist in drills

Job description

The Site Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing safety standards at the project site. This role ensures compliance with statutory regulations, company safety policies, and project requirements while promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key responsibilities

Implement and enforce site safety policies, procedures, and regulations

Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions, practices, or hazards

Ensure all workers comply with PPE requirements and safe work procedures

Maintain and update safety records, permits, checklists, and statutory documentation

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports for submission to management and authorities

Ensure compliance with DOSH, CIDB, and project-specific safety requirements

Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and induction training for new workers

Respond to accidents, incidents, and near-misses immediately and conduct investigations

Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, subcontractors, and safety teams

Ensure emergency equipment is available and maintained, and assist in planning emergency drills

About you

Minimum SPM and/or Certificate in civil engineering or relevant qualifications

Certificate in occupational health and safety (Valid Yellow Book Holder)

Preferably with minimum 5 years' experience in construction safety

Good knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards and best practices
