Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee site cleanliness, inspect plants and scaffolding, and maintain safety records. You will lead safety activities and support the Safety Office, ensuring compliance on site until the closure date.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in safety or related fields, with MS Office skills, and readiness to act as a supervisor/team lead during the assignment period.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in the related field.
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
• Preferably Junior Executive in Engineering- Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Check and supervise workers on proper site cleanliness and personal hygiene.
• Check for vermin, pest or insect breeding and take remedial actions.
• Inspect construction plants, tools and scaffolding.
• In charge of safety checklist recording and filing.
• Perform accident investigation and file for records.
• Assist Safety Office in responsibilities.
• Attend all safety activities (New workers induction, toolbox meetings).
• Any other related jobs as assigned.
