IJM Corporation Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a competent Site Safety Supervisor to implement scheduled safety and health programmes at the construction site. The role requires coordination of inspections, hazard identification, and reporting to the Project Manager and Safety & Health Officer.
You will assist with statutory documentation, conduct evacuation drills, liaise with subcontractors and authorities, and ensure compliance with OSHA 1994, FMA 2006, and local regulations.

Implement scheduled safety and health programme at site.
Coordinate and conduct periodical inspection of site/building/plant to identify potential hazards to safety and health as well as submission of reports to the Project Manager/ Safety & Health Officer.
Assist to complete necessary documentation and application required by statutory requirement at project site.
Assist in performing evacuation and emergency drills at site as well as investigations of accidents or near miss accidents.
Accompany authorities in performing safety and health audits at site.
Liaise with sub-contractors, government officials and relevant parties to identify and solve safety and health issues.
Adhere to safety and health rules and procedures, as well as relevant policies and work instructions as so defined in order to ensure compliance with the Company’s Quality System, health, safety and environmental requirements.
Requirement:
Competent Site Safety Supervisor (DOSH certified)
5 years working experience in construction industry.
Understanding of occupational safety and health requirements at construction sites.
Familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA (Amendment) 2006 and other related requirementsFamiliar with local business and government rules and regulations
