Job summary

Malaysia Steel Works (KL) Bhd (Masteel) is seeking a Safety Supervisor to conduct daily safety inspections on site at Bukit Raja, Klang. You will enforce PPE and safe working procedures in a dusty, hot steel factory environment, and coordinate with the SHO on HSE regulations.

The role requires a Diploma/ Degree in OSH or DOSH-recognized certificate, good communication, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in OSH, Environmental or DOSH-recognized certification.
• Shift work including weekends and public holidays required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in safety-related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections on site (workplace, cranes, extinguishers).
• Perform daily safety briefings to site workers on unsafe acts and hazards.
• Assist SHO in implementing HSE regulations at the factory.
• Support site enforcement for PPE and safe procedures in the factory.
• Conduct safety briefings for contractors before work starts.
• Prepare reports and maintain required documentation.

Job Requirements:

Qualify Diploma/ Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental, or any certificates that DOSH Malaysia recognizes

Capable of working in shift hours, weekends, and public holidays

Minimum of one year of work experience in the related field

Have basic computer literacy

Good communication and interpersonal skills to work at Bukit Raja, Klang

Able to work in a steel manufacturing factory with a dusty and hot environment
