Job summary

RIFENG MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to lead health, safety and environmental programs across our construction sites.

• DOSH Level 2 qualification or equivalent minimum.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a safety supervisor or similar role within construction.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction safety regulations, standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in conducting safety risk assessments and hazard analysis.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence personnel at all levels.
• Proven ability to maintain detailed safety records and prepare reports.
• Competency in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections in outdoor construction environments.
• Valid driving licence and reliable transport.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and non-compliance issues.
• Developing, implementing and maintaining health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Providing safety induction and training programmes to all personnel on site.
• Investigating accidents, incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitoring the use of PPE and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Liaising with project managers, contractors and clients regarding safety matters and regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining accurate safety records, statistics and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings to promote awareness and best practices.
• Ensuring hazardous materials are handled, stored and disposed of in accordance with regulations.
• Coordinating emergency response procedures and conducting regular safety drills.
• Advising senior management on safety performance and recommending improvements.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join RIFENG MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining and promoting a safe working environment across our construction operations. As Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for implementing health, safety and environmental protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organisation. This role is essential to protecting our workforce and maintaining operational excellence across all project sites.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify hazards and non-compliance issues

What we're looking for

• Recognised qualification in Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH Level 2 or equivalent minimum)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a safety supervisor or similar role within the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian construction safety regulations, standards and best practices
• Proficiency in conducting safety risk assessments and hazard analysis
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence personnel at all levels
