Talang Energy Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis in Kemaman, Terengganu. As a Safety Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our construction operations. This position is integral to upholding our commitment to the safety and well-being of our workforce and the local community.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a strong safety culture
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Provide safety briefings and training to all site personnel
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain detailed records and documentation related to safety performance and compliance
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of construction activities

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in the construction industry
• Thorough knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with all levels of the organisation
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and safety management software
• Valid safety certifications, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, would be an advantage
