Ocean Plumbing Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Safety Site Supervisor for a full-time role in Penang. You will monitor and enforce safety standards at construction sites, ensuring compliance with regulations and preventing accidents.

You will conduct inspections, implement safety plans, train workers, and coordinate with authorities across Penang and other sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Valid Green Book / Yellow Book certification registered with DOSH.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction site safety supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOSH, and CIDB regulations related to construction safety.
• Strong documentation skills for maintaining safety records and reports.
• Driving license (class D) with own transport.
• Willingness to be assigned to Penang, Johor Bahru, Kulim or Ipoh as needed.

Join Ocean Plumbing Engineering Sdn. Bhd. as a Safety Site Supervisor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for monitoring and enforcing safety standards at construction sites in Penang. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with safety regulations, preventing accidents, and promoting a safe working environment. Our projects will continue in Penang, Johor Bahru, Kulim (Kedah), and Ipoh.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits..
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings daily/weekly for all workers.
• Develop and enforce site safety plans in line with OSHA/DOSH regulations.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation(permits to work, risk assessments, safety checklists).
• Train and brief workers on safety procedures and emergency response.
• Liaise with authorities (DOSH, CIDB, local councils) during inspections or audits.
• Promote a safety-first culture by mentoring workers and encouraging reporting of hazards.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent.
• Valid Green Book / Yellow Book certification (registered with DOSH).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction site safety supervision
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.

• Good interpersonal skills to train, brief, and enforce safety among workers and subcontractors
• Driving license (class D) with own transport.
• Willingness to be assigned to projects in Penang, Johor Bahru, Kulim (Kedah)or Ipoh, depending on company needs.
