Job summary

RESORT VILLA DEVELOPMENT SDN. BHD.

is seeking a Security Assistant to support safety, security and orderly operation of the property by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents and emergencies, assisting guests and employees, and documenting Security/Loss Prevention activities. This role emphasizes protection of people, property and information while delivering a professional and responsive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Strong awareness of safety, security and emergency response procedures.
• Clear communication and sound judgement when handling incidents, complaints and emergencies.
• Ability to maintain accurate reports and protect confidential information.
• First aid and CPR capability, or willingness to obtain the required training.

Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms and fire life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.
• Assist guests and employees during emergency situations.
• Notify appropriate individuals about accidents, attacks and other incidents.
• Defuse guest and employee disturbances and call for outside assistance when necessary.
• Complete incident reports for all Security/Loss Prevention-related incidents.
• Handle interruptions and complaints and resolve safety hazard situations.
• Report to scenes of vehicle accidents and thefts.
• Call for assistance using proper code responses.
• Complete Loss Prevention shift summaries and daily activity reports.
• Maintain the confidentiality of Security/Loss Prevention and property reports and documents, releasing information only to authorised individuals.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
