GREEN PLUS CONSULTANCY (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Safety Coordinator to promote workplace safety, ensure compliance with rules, and monitor PPE use at our Penang site. The role requires a Diploma in OSH and a valid OSH Coordinator certificate, with CIDB Green Card preferred. Candidates should have 1–2 years of safety experience and strong teamwork.

The position involves site observations, hazard communication, and maintaining safety records, with shifts rotation and immediate joining available.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health is required.
• OSH Coordinator course certificate is required.
• CIDB Green Card is required.
• 1-2 years of safety & health experience in manufacturing or construction is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are important.

Responsabilités

• Promote safety awareness among workers and ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and procedures.
• Conduct regular site observations to identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
• Remind workers to wear and use PPE correctly at all times.
• Assist in identifying workplace hazards and communicating safety concerns to the relevant personnel.
• Assist in maintaining basic safety records, inspection checklists, and relevant documentation.
• Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Remind workers to wear and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times.

Assist in identifying workplace hazards and communicating safety concerns to the relevant personnel.

Assist in maintaining basic safety records, inspection checklists, and relevant documentation.

Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
• Have an OSH Coordinator course certificate.
• Have a valid CIDB Green Card.
• Have at least 1-2 years of safety & health experience in the manufacturing or construction field.
• Good in interpersonal, communication & leadership skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and a team player.
• Staying in Penang and have own transportation.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts.
• Can join work immediately.
