Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a SaaS / POS Project Manager to oversee end-to-end SaaS and POS initiatives, coordinating with internal teams and the China IT team to ensure smooth implementation and ongoing product enhancements.

The role involves gathering requirements from Operations, Merchants, Finance and Marketing, translating them into functional specs, managing timelines, and performing UAT and training for users and merchants.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS or Business IT.
• Experience in SaaS, POS systems, IT projects or digital platforms.
• Good understanding of software development, system integration and APIs.
• Experience coordinating between business users and technical teams.
• Able to communicate with the China-based IT/development team.
• Experience in food delivery, F&B, e-commerce or merchant platforms is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end SaaS and POS projects, from planning and requirements gathering to implementation and launch.

• Gather and analyse business requirements from Operations, Merchant, Finance, Marketing and other departments.

• Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements for the IT/development team.

• Coordinate closely with the China IT team on system development, enhancements, integrations and technical issues.

• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, priorities and implementation progress.

• Conduct system testing and UAT before new features or system updates are released.

• Identify, troubleshoot and follow up on app, POS and system issues, working with IT until problems are resolved.

• Monitor system performance and collect feedback from users and merchants to identify areas for improvement.

• Manage POS-related functions such as merchant setup, order management, payment integration, reporting and system configuration.

• Prepare project documentation, SOPs, user guides and progress reports.

• Provide basic system guidance and training to internal users and merchants when required.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors or service providers for system integration and technical requirements.

• Perform other project or product-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business IT or a related field.

• Experience in SaaS, POS systems, IT projects or digital platforms.

• Good understanding of software development, system integration, APIs and troubleshooting.

• Experience managing projects and coordinating between business users and technical teams.

• Strong problem-solving, communication and project management skills.

• Able to communicate effectively with the China-based IT/development team.

• Experience in food delivery, F&B, e-commerce, merchant platforms or payment systems would be an advantage.
