We are seeking an Assistant IT Manager to lead our technical operations. This role is a hybrid position focused heavily on business application support (POS & ERP systems) and backed by critical IT infrastructure management. You will ensure seamless daily operations, act as the primary escalation point for end-users, and collaborate with vendors to drive system enhancements.

We are seeking an Assistant IT Manager to lead our technical operations. This role is a hybrid position focused heavily on business application support (POS & ERP systems) and backed by critical IT infrastructure management. You will ensure seamless daily operations, act as the primary escalation point for end-users, and collaborate with vendors to drive system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Support (70%)
- ERP & POS Systems: Manage the day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and administration of ERP modules, Point-of-Sale, CRM and Autocount .
- Business Process Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document system issues, and map out business requirements for system enhancements (if any).
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison with third-party software vendors to resolve escalated bugs, manage customizations, and oversee scheduled system upgrades.
- User Training & UAT: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system patches and conduct training for end-users to ensure high adoption rates.
- Data Integrity: Ensure smooth integration and data synchronization between the POS and ERP systems.
2. Infrastructure, EUC & cybersecurity (30%)
- End-User Computing (EUC): Oversee lifecycle management, provisioning, and Level 1/2 troubleshooting of corporate hardware (laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices).
- Network & Firewall Management: Monitor local network health, configure and maintain firewalls, switches, and VPNs to ensure robust data security and secure remote access.
- Access & Identity Management: Manage user account provisioning, access controls, and permissions across all business applications and servers in accordance with cybersecurity policies.
- Backup & Recovery: Execute regular data backups and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT management or a related field with a focus on systems management.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, business process integration, software, and hardware.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure and related resources.
- Proficient in troubleshooting software and hardware-related issues.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
