Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Team Lead, Record-to-Report (RTR) in Kuala Lumpur to manage a finance shared services team. The role focuses on end-to-end RTR/GL operations, month-end close, and driving improvements. You will work with Controllership and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timely reporting while developing a high-performing RTR team.

Candidate should have 4–10 years in RTR/GL, with strong leadership and accounting controls knowledge. ACCA/CPA/CIMA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) is advantageous.
• 4–10 years of accounting/RTR/GL experience in SSC/GBS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end RTR/GL activities and month-end/year-end closing.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and aging of items.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation adjustments.
• Oversee prepayments, accruals, journal entries, and controls.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation, and automation with stakeholders.
