Job summary

Grab is seeking an experienced RTR GL leader to own end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes within the Record-to-Report function. You will ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance, drive process improvements, and mentor a team of RTR professionals based at the Petaling Jaya office.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, RTR – General Ledger & Reporting, you will collaborate with regional stakeholders to standardize controls and accelerate automated reporting, while upholding Grab's

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of RTR/Shared Services experience.
• Hands-on RTR experience and understanding of financial impacts.
• Experience with Oracle ERP/Oracle Fusion is advantageous.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and practical application.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end RTR GL operations, ensuring accuracy and timely close.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and SLAs.
• Ensure IFRS/local GAAP compliance and adherence to policies.
• Review complex GL issues and collaborate to resolve them.
• Coach and mentor the RTR GL team and manage performance.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Engage with regional stakeholders for accurate reporting.
