Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a ROC Shift Manager/Duty Manager to lead the Remote Operations Centre team and ensure continuous 24/7 monitoring and control of data center facilities. You will oversee shift handovers, real-time monitoring of electrical/HVAC systems, and rapid incident response to maintain service continuity across the campus.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree or higher, with a valid electrical license and/or HVAC certification, plus 3–5 years of multi-building facility

• Valid High/Low Voltage Electrical License and/or HVAC/Refrigeration certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems is essential.
• At least 3 years of multi-building facility management or 5+ years of single-building operations is expected.
• Experience managing data center facilities with ≥50MW IT load is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift handovers and daily team briefings.
• Monitor building systems and environmental parameters 24/7 in real time.
• Identify, upscale and report operational abnormalities immediately.
• Conduct or support scheduled on-site facility inspections.
• Review maintenance plans and ensure maintenance activities are coordinated.

ROC Shift Manager/ Duty Manager (Data Center Industry)

Working Hours: 5 Days Per Week, Shift Rotation

Basis Salary: RM15,000 ~ RM22,000 (based on experiences)

Performance Bonus + Transportation Allowance

About the role:

Plan, set up, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms. Manage and optimize campaigns based on key performance metrics such as CPA, CPI, CPS, ROI, ROAS, CTR, and CVR.

Main Purpose

The role is responsible for leading the ROC (Remote Operations Centre) team and ensuring continuous 24/7 monitoring and operational control of data center facilities across the campus.

Key Responsibilities

Lead shift handovers and daily team briefings.

Monitor building systems and environmental parameters 24/7 in real time.

Identify, upscale and report operational abnormalities immediately.

Conduct or support scheduled on-site facility inspections.

Review maintenance plans and ensure maintenance activities are properly coordinated.

Lead incident and failure response, working with Building Managers and the Campus Manager.

Ensure maintenance work meets required operational standards.

Train and onboard new ROC team members.

Manage the ROC team during assigned shifts and ensure smooth operational continuity.

Key Requirements

The employer is looking for a technical facilities/data center operations professional, rather than a general operations manager.

Required background includes:

Bachelor's degree or above.

Valid High/Low Voltage Electrical License and/or HVAC/Refrigeration certification.

Strong knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems.

At least 3 years of multi-building facility management, or 5+ years of single-building operations.

Experience managing data center facilities with ≥50MW IT load.

Either:

1+ year ROC Duty Manager experience, or

3+ years ROC Shift Leader experience.
